Who needs more vitality? More energy, more spark? If that’s you then this is your juice.
You won’t see a greener juice than this one. It has an abundance of dark rich green chlorophyll phytonutrients that help build red blood cells and give you plenty of energy.
It tastes sweet and minty and doesn’t have a horrible green juice flavour that you might expect from all of the green ingredients. It is surprisingly easy to drink!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bunch Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley
  • 1/2 bunch Silverbeet (Swiss Chard)
  • 1/2 Pineapple

Preparation

Mint
  • Remove the leaves from the woody stems

Parsley
  • Roughly chop the stems and leaves
  • Juice handfuls at a time

Silver beet
  • Chop stems and leaves into small pieces across the stalks (this shortens the long stringy cellulose fibre and stops it wrapping around the press)
  • Juice handfuls at a time

Pineapple
  • Slice off the outer skin
  • Cut into long thin strips to fit down the chute
  • Chop the core into small chunks

Instructions

  • Add the mint first by bunching all the leaves into a fist size ball then dropping the ball into the juicer chute.
  • Then, add the parsley, using the same ball bunching method.
  • Next, add the chopped silver beet one handful at a time. Go slowly and let the juicer run for a minute after you have finished all the silver beet. This will allow all the greens to push through the press.
  • Lastly, add the pineapple strips one at a time. You will get lots of enzyme activity from the pineapple mixing with the greens creating what we call juice foam on top of the juice.
  • Tip:  When you feel like you’re on an emotional roller coaster, turn to parsley. For maximum benefit, seek out flat-leaf parsley.
