This juice recipe is designed to help you build your iron levels.
Wait until you see the amazing deep red colour of this juice recipe. There is an abundance of living green chlorophyll combined with a rich maroon colour from the beetroot that makes this juice look amazing.
Increasing your intake of raw foods rich in iron is the best way I know to naturally increase your iron levels. Most people don’t sit down to eat a whole bunch of raw spinach or a whole bunch of raw parsley. You can however easily consume it all, in one, easy to digest, cold-pressed juice.
This juice recipe has over 125% of the recommended daily intake (RDI) of iron and 175% RDI of vitamin C which helps improve the absorption of iron.


  • 120 g baby spinach
  • 1 handful parsley
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 beetroot
  • 2 red apples


  • Roughly chop leaves and stems
  • Juice handfuls at a time
  • Cut in half and then into quarters
  • Slice each half into thin slices to make it easier to press.
  • Juice with skin on (you can also juice the leaves and stems if you have them).

  • Remove the stems and remove any stickers
  • Juice apples whole with skin and seeds.
  • Cut in half or quarters if too big to fit into the wide chute

  • Prepare all ingredients ready for juicing

  • Start with the cap close on the juicer.
  • Grab a handful of spinach and drop it into the chute. Then grab a handful of parsley and drop it into the chute. Continue alternating the greens until they have all been juiced.
  • Next, add the cucumber pieces one at a time.
  • Open the cap on the juicer to release the green juice.
  • Next, add the beetroot slices, I usually add about 1/4 of the beetroot at a time.
  • Finish with the apples adding one at a time and letting the juicer press through before adding the next one.


  • always juice herbs and leafy greens first in a cold press juicer as the fruits and veggies that follow will help push more leaves through the juicer and you will get more green nutrition and flavour.
