When you think of a detox juice you usually think of a green juice right? Well as soon as you see the deep green healing colour of this juice you will know why I called it Super Greens and why it is a perfect detox juice recipe.
This is one of the few juices that I like better when it is chilled. It has a subtle floral aroma from the broccoli and brussel sprouts, but it tastes clean, fresh and definitely green.


  • 1 handful Parsley
  • 2 Cucumbers
  • 1/2 head Broccoli
  • 1/2 bunch Kale
  • 5 Brussel Sprouts
  • 2 Green Apples


  • Break a handful of parsley from the bunch
  • Roughly chop
  • Cut in chunks to fit down the chute
  • Juice with skin on
  • Juice whole
  • If large cut into half
  • Cut away leaf from the main stalk (you can juice the stalk, but will add bitterness)
  • Roughly chop the leaves
Brussel Sprouts
  • Thinly slice off the outer skin
  • Cut into slices
  • Remove the stems and remove any stickers
  • Juice apples whole with skin and seeds
  • Cut in half or quarters if too big to fit into the wide chute


  • Firstly, juice the parsley. Grab a handful and squeeze with your hand into a ball then add to the juicer.
  • Next, juice the cucumbers. Take your time and let the press slowly extract the juice from each one.
  • Follow with the broccoli which will help push through the soft cucumber flesh.
  • Add the chopped kale one handful at a time. You may need to use the pusher.
  • Brussel sprouts are next, add them one by one.
  • Lastly, add the green apples to finish.
  • Tip: Choose smaller-leaved kale for tenderness and mild flavour, the leaves should not be yellowed or brown. For maximum health benefit, seek out flat-leaf parsley.
