Yes, Spring is here and this juice is perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the honeydew melon and the tart flavour of the kiwi and grapefruit.


  • 1/2 honeydew melon
  • 2 kiwi fruits
  • 1 grapefruit
  • 1 handful mint leaves


Honeydew Melon
  • Remove the outer skin (you can juice it but it changes the taste)
  • Cut into thin strips or small pieces to fit in the wide chute
  • You can leave the seeds intact as they easily go through the juice
  • Thinly slice the outer brown skin (you can juice it but changes the colour of the juice)
  • Juice kiwi fruits whole
  • Remove the skin leaving as much white pith as possible
  • Juice whole or cut in half if too big to fit into the wide chute
  • remove the leaves from the woody stems
  • roughly chop


  • Place the mint into the juicer first as they a light and benefit from the other ingredients pushing them through.
  • Next juice the kiwi fruits. Pop them in the chute whole, one at a time.
  • Add the honeydew pieces slowly letting the machine press them through before adding more pieces. Both Kiwi and Honeydew are soft and need a little extra time to push through.
  • Finish the juice with the grapefruit.
  • Tip: When buying honeydew, choose a melon with a dull looking appearance. A shiny outside is an indicator of an under-ripe melon. Also, honeydew skin should be pale yellow to light lemon in colour, not overly green.
