The raw nutrients packed into this Pure Heart Juice helps to look after your heart health. It is a powerful protective juice that taste slightly sweet but peppery.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Red Capsicums
  • 6 Carrots
  • 1 baby Beetroot
  • 1 handful Parsley
  • 1 handful Baby Spinach

Preparation

Red Capsicum
  • Remove the green stems
  • Cut into halves or quarters to fit in the wide chute
  • Remove excess seeds
 
Carrots
  • Cut carrots lengthwise once
  • If larger carrots are used cut again lengthwise into quarters
 
Baby Beetroot
  • Slice into thin slices and chop any stems or leaves
  • Juice with skin on (you can juice the leaves and stems)
 
Parsley
  • Roughly chop leaves and stems
 
Baby Spinach
  • Wash well to remove dirt
  • No need to cut anything

Instructions
 

  • Juice the red capsicums first as they have lots of juice and flavour.
  • Next juice the baby beetroot slices and any leaves or stems. Make sure you cut them into thin slices and feed them slowly.
  • Put the parsley and baby spinach in next.
  • Lastly, juice the carrots which will help push all the greens nicely through.
  • Remember to take your time with the carrots letting the juicer press and squeeze each carrot before adding the next.
  • Tip: The level of carotene, like lycopene, is nine times higher in red capsicums and they have twice the vitamin C content of green capsicums.
