Wow, even raw broccoli, which is super healthy, can taste amazing if you add the right combination of ingredients.
This juice recipe has a well balanced neutral flavour, slightly bitter but also slightly sweet at the same time. It is refreshing and has a calming, mellow feel about it

  • 1 head broccoli
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 carrot

  • Cut off the stem
  • Cut the stem into quarters lengthwise
  • Break the florets up into small chunks to fit into the wide chute
  • Cut carrots lengthwise
  • Juice with skin on
  • Note: If larger carrots are used cut lengthwise again, into quarters
  • Remove the orange skin leaving as much white pith as possible
  • Juice whole or cut in half if too big to fit into the wide chute
  • Cut into chunks to fit down the chute
  • Juice with skin on
Tip: Older broccoli will be tough, woody, harder to press in the juicer and will have a strong odour. The stalks attached to florets should be crisp with a clean snap. Look for green leaves and florets tightly closed and uniformly green.

  • Start with the cucumber pieces. Add them one piece at a time letting them press through fully before adding more.
  • Next, add the broccoli florets followed by the broccoli stems. Go slow enough to allow the juicer to press each stem through before adding more.
  • Add the carrot next, one half at a time.
  • Finish making this juice with the oranges. Add them whole one on top of the other and allow the juicer to press them through.
