This juice is named GAP because it is a great ‘gap filler’ between lunch and dinner. It is smooth and creamy, so it is quite satisfying and decadent, but it has the lovely bite of the grapefruit to balance it out and give it a nice zing 😊
It would equally work as a breakfast juice, as it gives you a really nice dose of energy-giving juice to set you up for your day, or how we used it, which was to give us energy to power through the afternoon!
A really delicious and satisfying juice.

  • 1 grapefruit yellow
  • 2 pears brown
  • 4 apples red
  • 1 2cm ginger

  • Remove the stems and remove any stickers
  • Juice apples whole with skin and seeds
  • Cut in half or quarters if too big to fit into the wide chute
  • Remove the hard wooden stems
  • Juice whole or cut in half if too big to fit into the wide chute
  • Remove the outer skin keeping as much white pith as possible
  • Cut into halves or quarters to fit into the wide chute
  • Cut off a 2cm thick piece
  • Cut into thin slices leaving the skin on

  • Start with the pears. Add them one at a time letting each one press through before adding the next.
  • Repeatthe same with each apple.
  • Repeat the same with each apple.
  • Finish with the grapefruit halves or quarters letting the machine run for 30 seconds at the end to push all the grapefruit flesh through the juicer.
  • Tip: when a pear is hard and crunchy, that means its fiber content is higher, when a pear is soft and juicy, its glucose levels are higher, and it’s very easy to digest.
