This juice has the perfect combination of sweet tasting fruit, herbs and mineral rich veggies. There is a beautiful herb aroma coming from the parsley as you take the first sip. The juice is a sweet green flavour that is really easy to drink.
The texture is thin, juicy and hydrating and you can feel the cleansing taking place after drinking a big glass... YUM!!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 honeydew melon
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 handful parsley

Preparation

Honeydew melon
  • remove the outer skin
  • cut into pieces (seeds can be put through the juicer)
Apples
  • Remove the stems and remove any stickers
  • Juice apples whole with skin and seeds.
  • Cut in half or quarters if too big to fit into the wide chute
Celery
  • Chop into small thumb size pieces across the stalks (this shortens the long stringy cellulose fibre and stops it wrapping around the press)
  • You can juice celery leaves, however it will add bitterness, so discard if you don’t like this
Cucumber
  • Cut into chunks to fit down the chute
  • Juice with skin on
Parsley
  • Roughly chop leaves and stems
  • Juice handfuls at a time

Instructions

  • I really want to maximise the green colour in this juice so start with the fresh parsley to really push the herb through the rest of the ingredients.
  • Next add all the cucumber pieces then add all the honeydew melon pieces one at a time.
  • Let the soft melon pieces push through the juicer before adding the whole apple.
  • Finish with the celery adding one handful at a time.
