Raw garlic has a powerful, pungent flavour and is a pure probiotic (life giving”) food. I like it in juice because you get all the raw benefits (great for inhibiting a common cold virus), as well the intense flavour.
This juice is delicious with the combination of sweet tasting vegetables, garlic and chilli to intensify and balance out the flavour.


  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Daikon Radish
  • 2 stalks Celery
  • 1 Jalapeno
  • 1 small Sweet Potato


  • Juice with the skin on
  • Remove the green stems
  • Juice whole
  • Cut carrots lengthwise once
  • If larger carrots are used cut again lengthwise into quarters
Daikon Radish
  • Cut lengthwise once (same as carrots)
  • Juice with skin on
  • Chop into small thumb size pieces across the stalks (this shortens the long stringy cellulose fibre and stops it wrapping around the press)
  • You can juice celery leaves, however it will add bitterness, so discard if you don’t like it
  • Cut of the stalk end
  • Cut in half length-ways and if you don’t want it too spicy hot, then remove the seeds
Sweet Potato
  • Cut in half then into thin slices
  • Juice with the skin on


  • If you love garlic, then keep the cap closed and add it first. If you are not a big fan add it last.
  • Start by juicing the tomatoes, then add the carrots before opening the cap.
  • When juicing carrots add one half at a time and let the juicer press them fully before adding more. Follow with the daikon, then the celery (one handful at a time). Then add the jalapeno.
  • Lastly, add the hard slices of sweet potato.
  • Tip: Raw garlic is very powerful and can produce a burning sensation in the mouth so don’t over-do it!
