Strawberries contain ellagic acid for cardiovascular health and can help prevent heart disease, stroke, and lower cholesterol.
Pears and oranges both have lots of soluble fibre which can assist in reducing blood cholesterol levels.
Galacturonic acid (found only in grapefruit) can break up and dislodge fatty plaque build-up in the arteries and remove it completely from the body.
As healthy as grapefruits may be, caution should be used if you are taking certain prescription drugs. If you are on any medication, make sure to consult with your physician before consuming this juice recipe.

A delicious recipe that is so good you will be wanting to drink it every day. It is sweet and slightly bitter from the grapefruits and has a thick creamy texture.


  • 2 red grapefruits
  • 1 orange
  • 1 pear
  • 6 strawberries

  • Remove the outer skin keeping as much white pith as possible
  • Cut into halves or quarters to fit into the wide chute
  • Remove the hard wooden stems
  • Juice whole or cut in half if too big to fit into the wide chute
  • Remove the orange skin leaving as much white pith as possible

  • Pull off the small green leaves, you can juice them if you want
  • Juice whole



  • Prepare all the ingredients ready for juicing
  • Start with the pear. Add it to the juicer and wait for it to completely press through before adding more ingredients. The harder the pear the better they press in the juicer.
  • Next, add the strawberries all at once.
  • Add the orange.
  • Finish with the grapefruit halves adding them one piece at a time.
