Summer is here and it's the perfect time to start adding some yummy stone fruits to your juices. Make sure you take extra care in removing all the stones before juicing. This recipe tastes amazing.
It has lots of sweet flavour and is a refreshing summer juice. You will be nicely surprised as can really taste all the ingredients and yes, you can put a banana in a cold press juicer!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 peaches
  • 2 cups cherries
  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 1 banana

Preparation

Banana
  • Remove the outer skin
  • Juice whole
 
Peaches
  • Slice down either side of the stone to get two halves
  • Lay the stone flat and cut off remaining flesh
Pineapple
  • Slice off the outer skin
  • Cut into long thin strips to fit down the chute
  • Chop the core into small chunks
Cherries
  • Remove stems
  • Using a chef knife make one slice down to the stone
  • Use the flat side of the knife and press on the cherry so it splits
  • Remove the stone leaving two halves

Instructions
 

  • Remember to take your time preparing the cherries as you want to make sure all the cherry pips are removed before juicing.
  • Start by adding the banana to the juicer. You don't get juice from a banana, but it will flavour the other ingredients nicely if you juice it first.
  • Next alternate between the pineapple slices and peach slices adding them one by one to the chute. Make sure to leave the pineapple core till last.
  • Next add the cherries. I grab a handful at a time and just drop them in.
  • Finish making this juice by adding the pineapple core last. It will help push the softer flesh from the cherries through the press.
